I had been wanting to do a woodworking project that would push my skills to the next level and I had always wanted to make Adirondack chairs for our backyard. And I needed a project during the peak of Covid in 2021. I found plans by Norm Abrams in Popular Woodworking magazine online and set out to follow them. I had to buy a band saw to make this happen and I found a relatively inexpensive one on Amazon. (It’s not the best band saw, but I have used it a lot since this project and it did the trick for my first time on a project like this.)
